Questions about mahjong

What is the difference between mahjong and mahjong connect?

In classic mahjong you may remove a pair only when neither tile is covered from above and each has a free left or right side. In connect the tiles lie in a flat grid and a pair is joined by a line that may turn no more than twice.

Can every game of mahjong be won?

Not always. If the last tiles have no free pair, the game is stuck. That is why many games offer a shuffle or a hint for the next move.

What is 3D mahjong?

Instead of flat tiles you get cubes stacked into a block. You rotate the block and match identical symbols on cubes the game marks as free.
