A mahjong with letters on the tiles and 144 different layouts. A pair is two identical free letter tiles. Can you complete every level?
Letter Mahjong belongs to the Classic layouts variant in the Mahjong world and joined the catalogue on May 21, 2018. The rules, levels and on-screen language are set by the game’s creator, and a short guide appears on its start screen.
How to play
- Click two identical tiles that are not covered from above and have a free left or right side.
- The pair disappears and uncovers the tiles beneath.
- You win when every tile is off the table.
Tips for a better game
- Free the tiles on top of tall stacks first, because they block the most others.
- When three matching tiles are free, do not grab a pair blindly: check which third one would be left stuck.
- Break long rows from both ends, or the middle stays out of reach.
