About the game
A mahjong connect with animal blocks in several layers. You can only link free blocks in the same layer, along a path with no more than two right angles.
Connect the Blocks belongs to the Connect variant in the Mahjong world and joined the catalogue on May 14, 2024. The rules, levels and on-screen language are set by the game’s creator, and a short guide appears on its start screen.
How to play
- Find two identical tiles.
- Check that a line with no more than two turns can join them through empty space.
- Clear the grid before time runs out, if the game keeps time.
Tips for a better game
- Clear pairs on the edge of the grid first: a line can easily run around the rest of the board.
- Matching tiles that touch can always be joined straight away, so take them.
- When you get stuck, look for a pair the line can reach by running around the outer edge.
