Tetrix is a classic falling block game where shapes of four squares arrive from above. You can move and rotate each shape as it falls, and when you complete a whole horizontal row, it vanishes and frees space. The game lasts as long as the stack stays below the top.
Tetrix belongs to the Falling blocks variant in the Blocks world and joined the catalogue on October 26, 2023. The rules, levels and on-screen language are set by the game’s creator, and a short guide appears on its start screen.
How to play
- Move the block left and right as it falls.
- Rotate it so it lands without gaps beneath it.
- A full horizontal row disappears and the stack drops.
- Play until the stack reaches the top.
Three tips for Tetrix
- Keep one column open for the long piece that clears four rows at once.
- Holes under blocks are the costliest mistakes, so avoid them.
- Keep the stack flat, spikes and pits soon become a problem.
