About the game
A very difficult Spider solitaire. Build groups in suit on the tableau, laying cards down in order, but move only groups of one suit.
Spider is played with two decks across ten columns. Unlike Klondike, you may build down on any suit, but only runs of a single suit move together. That makes Spider a slow and thoughtful solitaire: one careless move can lock a column for a long time.
Spider Solitaire belongs to the Spider variant in the Solitaire world and joined the catalogue on November 9, 2017. The rules, levels and on-screen language are set by the game’s creator, and a short guide appears on its start screen.

How to play
- Build down in the columns from the king, regardless of suit.
- A run moves as one only when all its cards share a suit.
- When you run out of moves, deal a new row from the stock, one card onto each column.
- A complete king to ace run in one suit leaves the table, and the goal is to clear every card.

Three tips for winning more Spider deals
- Whenever you have a choice, build on a card of the same suit, those runs stay movable.
- Use an empty column to rearrange long runs, not to park a single card.
- Before dealing from the stock, uncover as many face down cards as you can, because a new deal covers every column.
