About the game

A blend of Spider and FreeCell. Move the cards to four piles in suit from ace to king, place a top card on a column if it makes a descending run regardless of suit, move runs that alternate colours, and use four free cells for temporary storage.

Spider Freecell belongs to the Spider variant in the Solitaire world and joined the catalogue on March 4, 2016. The rules, levels and on-screen language are set by the game’s creator, and a short guide appears on its start screen.

How to play

  1. Build down from the king on any suit.
  2. Only runs of one suit move together.
  3. A complete king to ace run in one suit leaves the table by itself.

Tips for a better game

  • Whenever possible, build on a card of the same suit, because those runs can later move together.
  • Use an empty column for rearranging, not as a parking spot for a single card.
  • Fill every empty column before dealing a new row from the stock, as the game usually requires.
