About the game

Help the penguins in a game similar to FreeCell and Eight Off. Unlike FreeCell you build runs in suit, the foundations go up from a given card, and you can wrap from king to ace when needed.

Penguin Solitaire belongs to the FreeCell variant in the Solitaire world and joined the catalogue on December 16, 2019. The rules, levels and on-screen language are set by the game’s creator, and a short guide appears on its start screen.

How to play

  1. Move one card at a time between columns, free cells and foundations.
  2. Build the columns down in alternating colours.
  3. Build each foundation from ace to king in one suit.

Tips for a better game

  • Free cells are your reserve: keep at least one empty for as long as you can.
  • Dig out aces and twos buried deep in the columns first.
  • An empty column is worth more than a free cell, because it lets you move longer runs.
