About the game
Killer sudoku, also called sumdoku. Numbers 1 to 9 appear once per row, column and box, and the grid is split into coloured cages whose cells must add up to the total in the top left corner, with no repeats inside a cage.
Killer Sudoku belongs to the Sudoku variant in the Brain teasers world and joined the catalogue on August 29, 2019. The rules, levels and on-screen language are set by the game’s creator, and a short guide appears on its start screen.
How to play
- Enter a number in an empty cell.
- Make sure no number repeats in a row, column or box.
- Fill the whole grid.

Tips for a better game
- Start with the row, column or box that is missing the fewest numbers.
- Pencil in possible numbers as notes and cross them out as you go.
- Do not guess: every number in a good sudoku can be found by logic.
