About the game
Classic Hearts against computer opponents. Before each hand you pass three cards to another player, every heart is a penalty point and the queen of spades thirteen. Play runs to 100 points, and the lowest score wins.
Hearts is a card game for four in which points are something to avoid. Every heart is a penalty point and the queen of spades thirteen, so the aim is to stay out of the tricks that hold them. Before each hand you pass three cards to another player, in turn to the left, to the right and across, followed by a hand with no passing.
Hearts belongs to the Card games variant in the Table games world and joined the catalogue on November 5, 2015. The rules, levels and on-screen language are set by the game’s creator, and a short guide appears on its start screen.

How to play
- Before the hand, choose three cards to pass to another player.
- The player with the two of clubs leads the first trick, and others must follow suit if they can.
- Hearts may not be led until someone has played a heart or the queen of spades.
- Play runs to 100 points, and the lowest score wins.
Three tips for Hearts
- Pass high spades and hearts, especially the ace and king of spades if you hold few low spades.
- Get rid of one whole suit early so you can discard dangerous cards later.
- Take every heart and the queen of spades and you either subtract 26 points from your score or add 26 to everyone else, but the attempt is risky.
