About the game
The classic FreeCell. Move every card to the foundations by the FreeCell rules, with free cells for parking cards along the way.
FreeCell is the solitaire where almost every deal can be won, so success comes from planning rather than luck. All cards lie face up from the start across eight columns, and four free cells in the top left hold cards for a while. The four foundations in the top right are built from ace to king.
Freecell belongs to the FreeCell variant in the Solitaire world and joined the catalogue on September 1, 2022. The rules, levels and on-screen language are set by the game’s creator, and a short guide appears on its start screen.

How to play
- Move one card at a time: to another column, a free cell or a foundation.
- Build down in the columns in alternating red and black.
- An empty column accepts any card or run.
- You win when every card reaches the foundations, each suit from ace to king.

Three tips for FreeCell
- Before the first move, find all four aces and plan how to free them.
- Fill free cells reluctantly, every occupied cell shortens the run you can move.
- An empty column is worth more than a free cell, so protect it.
