A code breaking game against the computer. Guess the combination, and the hints tell you how close you are. Can you crack it?
Crack the code belongs to the Board games variant in the Table games world and joined the catalogue on March 31, 2016. The rules, levels and on-screen language are set by the game’s creator, and a short guide appears on its start screen.
How to play
- Place your first guess at the code.
- Read the feedback: how many colours are in the right place and how many are only in the code.
- Narrow down the options and crack the code in as few guesses as possible.
Tips for a better game
- Use the first guesses to test as many different colours as possible.
- Change only one or two positions at a time so you know what changed the result.
- Remember which colours are definitely not in the code.
