About the game
Classic Battleships. Place your five ships on the grid and try to sink your opponent’s fleet before they sink yours.
Battleships belongs to the Board games variant in the Table games world and joined the catalogue on January 18, 2016. The rules, levels and on-screen language are set by the game’s creator, and a short guide appears on its start screen.
How to play
- Look at your grid and the rules for placing or revealing.
- Take turns with your opponent choosing a cell on the grid.
- The first to find every ship or mine wins.
Tips for a better game
- Fire in a checkerboard pattern, every other cell, until you hit.
- After a hit, try the neighbouring cells in a straight line.
- Track which cells are surely empty and do not waste turns on them.
